Telehealth Psychiatry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Fort Lauderdale stretches from the beaches and Las Olas Boulevard through Victoria Park, Coral Ridge and Rio Vista, with Wilton Manors, Oakland Park and the rest of Broward County close by. Getting from one side of the county to another on I-95 or I-595 is rarely quick, and an in-person appointment can easily eat into a workday.
People here work in marine industries, hospitality, healthcare and remote jobs, often on schedules that bend around the season. A video visit lets you see a psychiatric provider from home or on a break, without the traffic or parking.
Health Haven is a Florida psychiatric practice that offers telehealth statewide. If you are searching for an online psychiatrist in Fort Lauderdale, you can meet with one of our providers by video for evaluation, medication management and therapy.
How telehealth with Health Haven works
Here is the path from search to screen. Open Find a provider and look for profiles showing telehealth. Pick someone, and use the booking option on their profile, or call us if they ask you to. When your appointment arrives, join by video from a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone. A home office or a quiet corner works as long as you are not overheard. Avoid public Wi-Fi if you can, and close other apps so the video stays steady. Afterwards, you and your provider decide together how often to meet.

What telehealth covers, and what needs an in-person visit
By video you can typically do: psychiatric evaluation, medication management and therapy, with the providers whose profiles show telehealth. Your provider decides what kind of visit fits your care.
Needs an in-person visit: TMS and Spravato. These are in-person only: we offer TMS only at our West Palm Beach and Okeechobee offices, and Spravato at our West Palm Beach, Okeechobee and Stuart offices. They cannot be done by telehealth. Anything else your provider wants to see you for in person, they will tell you.
