Starting care at Health Haven
What happens from choosing a provider to your first visit and beyond.
For a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. Health Haven is not a crisis service.
Step 1
Is Health Haven right for me?
Health Haven is an outpatient psychiatric practice with offices in West Palm Beach, Okeechobee, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Atlantis, Tampa and two locations in Stuart. Our providers offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management and talk therapy, in person or by telehealth.
TMS and Spravato (esketamine) are offered at our West Palm Beach and Okeechobee offices only.
Health Haven sees patients ages 12 and up. Children ages 8 and up may be accepted with a referral, case by case.
Participation varies by plan, provider and office. Call 863-261-8354 and we'll verify your benefits before your first visit.
Step 2
Choose a provider
Appointments are booked with individual providers. A provider's card or profile shows whether they are accepting new patients and how to book with them.
By office
By kind of care
By language or telehealth
TMS or Spravato
TMS and Spravato (esketamine) are offered only at our West Palm Beach and Okeechobee offices. A consultation is required first to decide whether either treatment is right for you.
Prefer to talk it through first? Call our main line at (863) 261-8354.
Step 3
Book your appointment
Book online
If your provider's card or profile shows a Book with button, it opens our secure scheduling system (Patient Fusion) in a new tab.
Call to book
Some providers ask you to call to book.
Call our main line at (863) 261-8354. For West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Atlantis you can also call (561) 285-3623, and for both Stuart offices (772) 255-4697.
Hospital consultation team providers see patients through Health Haven's hospital consult services and don't book outpatient appointments.
Step 4
Complete your forms
Complete the New Patient Packet before your first appointment — history, symptoms, and consent basics.
Other forms you may need
Each form opens on IntakeQ in a new tab. Not sure which form you need? Get in touch before you start and ask which forms apply to you.
Step 5
Your first visit
In person
Each office page lists its address, phone, hours, services and providers.
Health Haven has two separate Stuart offices, one on Ocean Blvd and one on Federal Hwy. Check the address on the Locations page before your visit.
By video
Use the join link on the Telehealth page at your appointment time. Not every provider offers telehealth; each provider profile says whether they do.
A device with a camera and microphone, an internet connection, and a private space. The Telehealth page has more on getting ready.
What a first evaluation covers
A Health Haven psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive initial appointment where your provider takes a full history, assesses your symptoms, and works toward an accurate diagnosis.
Step 6
After your first visit
For a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. Health Haven is not a crisis service.
