Telehealth
Telehealth Psychiatry in Jacksonville, Florida

Jacksonville is the largest city in Florida by land area, with Duval County spread along the St. Johns River from Riverside and San Marco to Mandarin, Arlington, the Southside and the communities toward the coast. Distances are long, and getting from one end to the other can take longer than many appointments.
Jacksonville also has a large service-member and veteran community, along with healthcare, logistics and finance workers, and people with demanding or shifting schedules. Care you can attend from home or work, by video, removes a big barrier to starting and continuing treatment.
Health Haven is a Florida psychiatric practice with telehealth available statewide. If you are searching for an online psychiatrist in Jacksonville, you can see one of our providers by video for psychiatric evaluation, medication management and therapy.
How telehealth with Health Haven works
Everything starts with choosing a provider. On Find a provider, open profiles and look for telehealth, then use the booking option or call, depending on the provider. When your appointment begins, join by video from any device with a camera and microphone. A few habits help: sign in a few minutes early, keep your medication list handy, and sit somewhere your conversation will stay private. If something goes wrong with the connection, call us and we will help you get back in. Your provider will go over next steps at the end of the visit.
Conditions we treat
Each of these is covered on its own page:

What telehealth covers, and what needs an in-person visit
Most ongoing psychiatric care can happen over video: evaluations, follow-up medication visits and therapy sessions with providers who offer telehealth.
Some treatment cannot. TMS and Spravato are given in person: TMS at our West Palm Beach and Okeechobee offices only, and Spravato at our West Palm Beach, Okeechobee and Stuart offices. Your provider will help you decide what makes sense.
