Telehealth
Telehealth Psychiatry in Pensacola, Florida

Pensacola sits in Escambia County at the far western end of the Florida Panhandle, closer to Mobile, Alabama than to most of the state. From downtown and East Hill to Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key and across the bay in Gulf Breeze, the area has a long naval aviation history, a university, and a community that includes many military families and veterans.
Distance matters here. The Panhandle is far from the rest of Florida, and local options for psychiatric care can be limited. A video visit lets you reach a Florida provider without traveling hundreds of miles.
Health Haven is a Florida psychiatric practice with telehealth available statewide, which includes the Panhandle. If you are looking for an online psychiatrist in Pensacola, you can see one of our providers by video for evaluation, medication management and therapy.
How telehealth with Health Haven works
One note first: Pensacola is on Central Time, while most of the state is on Eastern, so confirm the time zone when you book. Then the steps are the usual ones. On Find a provider, open profiles and look for telehealth, book through the profile or by phone, and join the video link at your visit time. Use a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone, and pick a spot where you will not be overheard. If you are on a base or a shared network, consider using your own private connection.

What telehealth covers, and what needs an in-person visit
Most ongoing psychiatric care can happen over video: evaluations, follow-up medication visits and therapy sessions with providers who offer telehealth.
Some treatment cannot. TMS and Spravato are given in person: TMS at our West Palm Beach and Okeechobee offices only, and Spravato at our West Palm Beach, Okeechobee and Stuart offices. Your provider will help you decide what makes sense.
