Franz Hinojosa

Franz R. Hinojosa, MD, is a psychiatrist with more than a decade of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed public health and advanced medical training in the United States, including clinical preparation at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Hinojosa has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and has provided psychiatric services at Saint Joseph's Medical Center. He has also worked with community-focused mental health networks such as Project Renewal and with Gracie Square Hospital, caring for vulnerable populations with objectivity, respect and compassion.

He is experienced in treating schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depression and severe anxiety. His approach is whole-person and evidence-informed, with a focus on long-term stabilization and strong therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, respect and collaboration.
