Miguel Gutierrez

Miguel Gutierrez is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in mental health care. He earned his nursing degree from Palm Beach State College and completed his advanced training at Walden University. Miguel specializes in supporting individuals experiencing psychiatric crises, substance use disorders, and dual diagnoses. He is deeply passionate about psychiatry and is committed to utilizing the latest evidence-based treatment approaches to help patients stabilize and lead meaningful, productive lives beyond the hospital setting.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, he values connecting with patients and families in the language that feels most natural to them. Originally from Cali, Colombia, Miguel has called Florida home since 2001.

Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid long-distance runner, having completed several marathons in recent years.
