Communities we serve
Psychiatric Care for Westlake Residents
Westlake is one of Florida's newest cities — a master-planned community incorporated in 2016 that grew from 906 residents at the 2020 Census to 9,042 in the Census Bureau Population Estimates Program for July 1, 2025. It's a young-family city: 28.1% of residents are under 18 and 10.1% are under 5 (ACS 2020-2024), and the neighborhoods — The Hammocks, Sky Cove, The Orchards, Cresswind — the Adventure Park's splash pad and BMX pump park, and Seminole Ridge High School on Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd all reflect that texture. Nearly everyone here is a newcomer building a provider list from scratch.
On the psychiatric-care side, directory searches surfaced no brick-and-mortar psychiatry practice with a Westlake address. Health Haven serves patients from Westlake from two offices: our Atlantis office at 101 John F Kennedy Dr and our West Palm Beach flagship at 4400 N Congress Ave, Suite 203 — plus telehealth available anywhere in Florida.

Getting here
Health Haven Atlantis — 101 John F Kennedy Dr, Atlantis, FL 33462 · (561) 285-3623
To reach our Atlantis office, take Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd south to Southern Blvd (SR-80) east, then south via the SR-7 / Congress Ave corridor to 101 John F Kennedy Dr — roughly 23–26 miles and about 40–50 minutes (est.). For the West Palm Beach flagship at 4400 N Congress Ave, you can head north on Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd to Northlake Blvd east, or south to Southern Blvd (SR-80) east — roughly 19–22 miles and about 35–45 minutes (est.).
We'll be honest: neither is a quick trip. Westlake's mean travel time to work is already 45.2 minutes (ACS 2020-2024), so these drives sit inside the pattern residents already live with rather than outside it. If you take the Northlake route, note that Palm Beach County's construction list records road widening on Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd and on Northlake Blvd at Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd, with periodic lane closures on Northlake east of the intersection — peak-hour and construction delays there are a live caveat.
Care available
Here's what we offer at our Atlantis office.
- Psychiatric evaluations — a careful first look at what's going on, so we can talk through next steps together.
- Medication management — prescribing and ongoing check-ins, adjusted as we learn what fits.
- Therapy — psychotherapy and counseling, one on one, at a pace that feels manageable.
- Addiction recovery — support for substance use, wherever you are in the process.
Spravato and TMS are not offered at our Atlantis office — Spravato is available at our West Palm Beach flagship at 4400 N Congress Ave, the closest office to Westlake that offers it, and also at Okeechobee and Stuart (Ocean Blvd); TMS is available at West Palm Beach and Okeechobee. Telehealth is available anywhere in Florida, as long as you're physically in Florida at the time of your appointment. We see patients 12 and up, and children 8 and up by referral. We accept most major insurance plans — see /insurance for details. Health Haven has seven Spanish-speaking providers on the team practice-wide.
Living here
Westlake became Palm Beach County's 39th municipality on June 22, 2016, incorporated on former Callery-Judge citrus farmland — the 3,800 acres Minto Communities bought in September 2013 and renamed Westlake when development began in 2014. Minto is approved to build 4,500 homes there (a developer figure, not a census count), and daily life in the new city is organized around Westlake Adventure Park, whose $15 million first phase was completed in 2019 with a resort-style lagoon pool, water slide, kids' splash pad, a BMX pump park and a covered concert pavilion. Residents move through named neighborhoods — The Hammocks, The Meadows, The Groves, Sky Cove and The Orchards — alongside Cresswind Palm Beach, the 55+ enclave that breaks the young-family pattern. The demographics fit the texture: 28.1% of residents are under 18 (ACS 2020-2024) and median household income is $131,925 (ACS 2020-2024).
The city's named medical facility is the ER at Westlake on Persimmon Boulevard, a freestanding emergency department of Wellington Regional Medical Center that opened in April 2019 — emergency care only, and not a behavioral-health service. Seminole Ridge Community High School on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road anchors the district schools around the city, while elementary zoning is still being drawn. Westlake also sits inside the shared 33470 ZIP of The Acreage/Loxahatchee: planned, sidewalked subdivisions a few minutes from acre-lot equestrian country — one postal identity, two very different towns. It is from this new city that we serve patients, routing them east to our Atlantis and West Palm Beach offices.
Why patients come
The drives east are real: roughly 40–50 minutes (est.) to Atlantis and roughly 35–45 minutes (est.) to the West Palm Beach flagship, on top of a community whose mean commute is already 45.2 minutes (ACS 2020-2024) — which is why our two offices carry different service sets and why telehealth from home does real work here. Health Haven accepts most major insurance plans; see /insurance for what we take.
- Telehealth from home — appointments are available anywhere in Florida, as long as you are physically in Florida at the time of the appointment.
- Two anchors, honestly split — Atlantis offers evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, addiction recovery and telehealth, while Spravato and TMS are at the West Palm Beach flagship, the closest office to Westlake that offers them. Spravato is also offered at our Okeechobee office and at Stuart (Ocean Blvd); TMS is also offered at Okeechobee.
- Spanish-speaking providers — Health Haven has seven Spanish-speaking providers on the team practice-wide.
- Ages we see — Health Haven sees patients 12 and up, with children 8 and up by referral.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a psychiatrist in Westlake?
No brick-and-mortar psychiatry practice with a Westlake address surfaced in directory searches. The one in-city listing that surfaced is a psychotherapist, and the city's named medical facility — ER at Westlake on Persimmon Boulevard — is an emergency department, not a behavioral-health service. The nearest in-person psychiatry cluster is a short drive south in Royal Palm Beach and Wellington. Health Haven serves patients from Westlake from two offices: Atlantis and West Palm Beach.
How long is the drive from Westlake to Health Haven's Atlantis office?
About 23–26 miles and roughly 40–50 minutes (est.), typically via Seminole Pratt Whitney Road south to Southern Boulevard (SR-80) east and then south to 101 John F Kennedy Dr, Atlantis — longer during peak traffic or construction periods (est.).
How long is the drive to the West Palm Beach office, and why are there two offices?
About 19–22 miles and roughly 35–45 minutes (est.), via Northlake Blvd east or Southern Blvd east to 4400 N Congress Ave. The two offices carry different service sets: Atlantis offers evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, addiction recovery and telehealth, while Spravato and TMS are at the West Palm Beach flagship, the closest office to Westlake that offers them. Spravato is also offered at our Okeechobee office and at Stuart (Ocean Blvd); TMS is also offered at Okeechobee.
Does the Atlantis office offer Spravato or TMS for Westlake patients?
No — not at Atlantis. Spravato and TMS are at the West Palm Beach flagship, 4400 N Congress Ave, Suite 203 — the closest office to Westlake that offers them. Spravato is also offered at our Okeechobee office and at Stuart (Ocean Blvd); TMS is also offered at Okeechobee.
Can I do appointments from home in Westlake instead of driving east?
Yes. Telehealth is available anywhere in Florida, as long as you are physically in Florida at the time of the appointment. It fits how Westlake already lives: households here report 100.0% computer access and 98.9% broadband subscription (ACS 2020-2024), and the in-person drives east are real, so patients can mix visits from home with occasional office visits.
¿Hay atención en español para pacientes de Westlake? / Is care available in Spanish?
Sí — Health Haven has seven Spanish-speaking providers on the team practice-wide. That matters in Westlake, which is 28.59% Hispanic or Latino (2020 Census) and 24.5% Hispanic or Latino (ACS 2020-2024), and where 28.8% of persons age 5+ speak a language other than English at home (ACS 2020-2024). No named Spanish-speaking brick-and-mortar practice surfaced in Westlake itself in our directory searches.
Does Health Haven have an office in Westlake — and why does my Westlake address say "Loxahatchee"?
No — Health Haven does not have an office in Westlake; we serve patients from Westlake from 101 John F Kennedy Dr, Atlantis, FL 33462 and 4400 N Congress Ave, Suite 203, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 — phone (561) 285-3623. The address question is explained by the postal record: ZIP 33470's USPS default city name is "Loxahatchee," with "Westlake" accepted as a mailing name for the same ZIP — so a Westlake home addressed "Loxahatchee, FL 33470" is normal, and it does not make the resident part of The Acreage.
